Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the rules for using NZOTO. By creating an account or requesting a service you agree to them. This is baseline text for the prototype and will be replaced by reviewed legal copy before launch.

1. The service

NZOTO connects customers who need vehicle or residence maintenance with verified service providers. Providers carry out the work under the NZOTO brand.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. Providers must complete verification before they can accept jobs.

3. Communication and payment stay on the platform

All messages and all payments for jobs arranged through NZOTO must take place on NZOTO. Sharing phone numbers, email addresses or other contact details, or arranging payment elsewhere, is not allowed and may lead to suspension.

4. Payments and commission

Customers pay through the platform once work is completed. NZOTO retains a commission from each payment and releases the remainder to the provider.

5. Cancellations

Jobs can be cancelled by either party before work begins. See the Returns & Refund Policy for details.

6. Reviews

Customers may review a provider after a completed job. Reviews must be honest and must not contain personal contact details.
